Yes, I know it's been ages since I've posted here, but I've been busy. There's so much to destroy do, and so little time. I get in to everything, and I know I'm driving [info]angellabout2sin nuts. She needs a little chaos in her life though, so it's all good.

I don't know that she'd agree with that though. Oh well. Let's talk more about me. under here, cause I have a lot to say. )

. . . the Swiffer(TM) Carpet Flick. By [info]loki_the_kitten, unpaid celebrity spokeskitten

My mom bought the Swiffer(TM)Carpet Flick yesterday, and boy is it great. Since my arrival, she's been vacuuming a whole lot; it seems I'm not as neat as I should be with my litter box and food bowl. But that vacuum machine is big, loud, and scary, especially for a kitten of my stature (keep the short jokes to yourselves, thankyouverymuch). Every time she turns that thing on, I run. Hey, don't laugh—if you were my size and a big sucking machine came your way, you'd run like the wind too.

Anyways, in addition to being scary, the machine is a bit heavy. My mom has a problem with her neck (or so I'm guessing, since anytime I get near it she swats me away. And all I want to do is cuddle. . . ) so lugging the machine around isn't so easy for her. But this new Swiffer Carpet Flick? It's great! It weighs about the same as I do, which is cool because I can push it around, and it works on the carpet AND the floor. Mom just runs it over my messes, and they all go up in the little plastic thing and stick to the sticky stuff in there. It even works on the stairs, and isn't as heavy as that vacuum thing. When she's done, she just throws the sticky stuff away and hangs the plastic thingy up on the inside of the pantry door. And that's IT!!!! No loud noises from the scary sucking machine, and no accidental messes from me all over the place. I'm happy, mom's happy. Two very enthusiastic paws up from this kitten!

Wow, I have 8 friends now!! Not bad for someone who's confined to the house all day.

This weekend was pretty busy. I played on the stairs for a while, and then napped some. I like naps. Then mom got on the computer, and I had to help her type; she doesn't seem to enjoy it when I pounce on her fingers. Oh well, I think it's fun.

I learned how to unbuckle my collar and get out of it. It may be fashionable, but I can't sneak up on anyone because of that stupid bell. It's back on now, but only because mom seemed a bit annoyed with me, and I like her. She gives me food. I don't know that making someone who feeds you angry is a good thing. The food might stop coming. That would be bad.

Grandma came over yesterday and clipped my toenails. I did not enjoy that at all. It's really limited my climbing ability. Hopefully this won't continue, because I like climbing stuff, and those nails help. And I got to meet my cousin Kate; Aunt Tara brought her over. She wasn't all that interesting though; she just laid there and drooled a bit. Oh well, she's 4 weeks younger than I am, so I guess I should be a little more tolerant. Maybe she'll get funner when she's older.

That's pretty much it; there's no one home for me to play with right now, so I think I'll nap. That way, I'll have plenty of energy for playing when mom comes home later. Bye!

Mom [info]angellabout2sin and aunt [info]summer_smile have been helping me get it put together.

I <3 my mom. I'm still wondering about my aunt, though.
